Evan Monson, MD

Dr. Evan Monson joined Greystone OB/GYN in 2022 as the practice's dedicated OB Hospitalist at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital. He is passionate about guiding women through pregnancy, labor, and delivery, with special interests in high-risk obstetrics and the care of medically complex pregnancies. In addition to providing comprehensive obstetric care, Dr. Monson also provides emergency and full-spectrum inpatient gynecologic care. Whether caring for patients during childbirth or unexpected complications, he is committed to delivering compassionate, evidence-based care centered on each patient's individual needs.

Dr. Monson also serves as Vice Chair of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Piedmont Rockdale Hospital, where he supports physician leadership, nursing education, patient safety, and quality improvement initiatives that advance the care of women and newborns.

Dr. Monson believes the best care begins with listening and strives to ensure every patient feels heard, respected, and actively involved in her care. He is passionate about understanding the whole person—not just the immediate medical concern—and providing compassionate, individualized care.

When he's not at the hospital, Dr. Monson enjoys spending time with his family and his dog, Charlie. He loves traveling, trying new foods and restaurants, and taking in the arts, particularly live theater and musicals.
