Jessica Cooper, MD

Dr. Jessica Cooper is an Obstetrician Gynecologist with a special interest in contraceptive care. She is from the small town of Oberlin, LA and was inspired to become a physician due to the lack of access to medical care in her area. 

She received her B.S. in Biology from Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans, LA and went on to LSUHSC-Shreveport School of Medicine in Shreveport, LA for her medical degree. She went on to complete her residency training at Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA, serving as Administrative Chief Resident. Dr. Cooper is a generalist who is passionate about the field of Women's Health and building special relationships with her patients to best serve them. 

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, painting/crafting, watching The Golden Girls, cooking, music, and cuddling with her dog, Asher.
